Allen Career's profits plunge 70% but it still has ₹2,000cr cash
Allen Career Institute, a major name in India's coaching world, saw its profits drop sharply—down 70% to ₹41 crore in the financial year ending March 2025.
Revenue also slipped a bit, landing at ₹3,307 crore compared to last year's ₹3,473 crore.
Even with these setbacks, the institute still has a solid ₹2,000 crore in net cash.
Non-Kota branches now bring in 75% of Allen's revenue
Non-Kota branches now bring in 75% of Allen's revenue, up from 64% last year, showing their reach is growing beyond their Kota roots.
Over the past two years, Allen added 106 self-operated physical classroom campuses across India, including 62 in 17 new cities and 44 in existing markets, signaling they're still betting on expansion even as profits dip.
Allen is going all-in on digital learning
Allen is doubling down on digital learning, growing its Allen Online platform and bringing in former Zomato senior executive Rakesh Ranjan to lead their digital push.
With over 300 centers in 65+ cities, the institute is clearly working to adapt and stay relevant for students across India.
