Apollo Hospitals just got the official go-ahead from the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) to shake up its business structure.
The plan? Streamline four of its companies to make operations smoother and give a boost to Apollo's digital health and pharmacy game.
Apollo Hospitals plans digital pharmacy company
Apollo will create a new company focused on its online pharmacy and digital health services, merging Apollo HealthCo and Keimed Pvt Ltd into it.
This plan was first cleared by Apollo's board last July, and now NSE and BSE have given no-objection, and the Competition Commission of India has approved the transactions.
Up next: meetings with shareholders and creditors before everything is finalized.
