DoorDash's new feature lets you reserve tables at restaurants

DoorDash just rolled out "Going Out," a new feature that lets you book restaurant tables right from the app—starting in New York and Miami, with more cities on the way.
If you're a DashPass member, you'll get extra perks, like the ability to reserve exclusive tables.
This move follows DoorDash's $1.2 billion buyout of SevenRooms back in March, boosting their hospitality tech game.

DoorDash is also testing delivery robots and drones

DoorDash is also testing Dot, its speedy little delivery robot (think 32km/h and up to 13.61kg per trip) in Phoenix, aiming to make deliveries faster and more efficient.
On top of that, they're experimenting with drone deliveries in places like Australia, Texas, and North Carolina—hoping to mix human drivers with robots for even smoother service down the line.
