Gemini Edibles & Fats India (GEF), the company behind popular edible oil brands like Freedom and Be-Rite, just filed draft papers for an IPO that is entirely an offer-for-sale of up to 4.11 crore equity shares.
This move is a full offer-for-sale, meaning only existing shareholders like promoters Alka Chowdhry, Golden Agri International Enterprises Pte Ltd, and some investors will cash out.
GEF itself won't get new funds from this listing.
GEF 18% branded sunflower share
GEF holds an 18% share in India's branded sunflower oil market and reaches 3 lakh retail outlets through 1,600-plus distributors across Southern India and certain states of Eastern India.
The company's revenue jumped from ₹10,755.95 crore in FY25 to ₹12,650 crore in FY26.
