Indian companies excited about AI, but few actually using it
A new report says most Indian companies are excited about using AI, but very few have actually made it a part of their everyday work.
Out of 100+ firms surveyed, 75-85% are just testing or exploring AI, and less than 10% have rolled it out across the board.
Companies say digital skills are important, but only a 3rd deliver
Digital and AI readiness tops the priority list for many companies, with leadership development coming in second.
Even though most firms say they care about digital skills and preparing for the future, only a third actually link learning to business results.
Many struggle with building internal talent pools or scaling up their efforts—especially outside tech sectors.
Stuck at the starting line
The report also points out that gaps in governance and analytics make it tough to move from small pilot projects to full-scale AI use.
Without better systems and clearer goals, most organizations are stuck at the starting line instead of making real progress with AI.
