Indian startups raise $356.8 million from Sept 7 to 12
Indian startups pulled in a whopping $356.8 million from September 7 to 12, up over 17% from last week's total.
Growth-stage startups raised $182 million across six deals, while early-stage startups raised $174.8 million across 17 deals, showing investors are still excited about India's startup scene.
Popo Global, Nua, Pixxel lead funding
Bengaluru-based Popo Global topped the charts with a $56 million raise, followed by Nua's $50 million Series C round.
Early-stage startups weren't left out: Pixxel grabbed $100 million, and QNu Labs secured ₹200 crore for cybersecurity.
Alongside funding, Swiggy has agreed to sell its retail distribution business Lynk Logistics to B2B e-commerce platform Udaan for ₹500 crore, Cyrix Healthcare made an acquisition, and Whatfix appointed co-founder Vara Kumar as CEO, effective immediately.
W Health Ventures has closed its second fund at ₹700 crore, oversubscribing its initial target of ₹630 crore.
