Info Edge's revenue jumps 14% but net profit grows 6%

Info Edge just posted a 14% jump in revenue for July-September, reaching ₹746 crore.
But even with more money coming in, profits didn't keep pace—higher costs meant gains were modest.

Operating profit grew 7.5% to ₹295 crore

While operating profit (EBITDA) grew 7.5% to ₹295 crore, the margin slipped from 41.8% to 39.6%.
Net profit edged up only 6%, landing at ₹350 crore.
So, the company is earning more but spending a lot more too.

Investors weren't wowed

Even with these numbers, investors weren't wowed—the stock barely moved after results and is still down about 23% this year.
It's a reminder that strong revenue doesn't always mean big wins if costs aren't under control.
