Dunkin' Donuts fans, heads up: Jubilant FoodWorks, the company running Dunkin' in India, is planning a phased wind-down of Dunkin' operations in India as its franchise term ends on December 31, 2026.
This move comes amid heavy losses.
Even though its franchise agreement runs until 2026, Jubilant has decided not to renew it and will step away from Dunkin' for good.
Jubilant FoodWorks may sell Dunkin' assets
Jubilant plans to review and wind down Dunkin's operations in phases, which might mean selling assets or transferring rights as per its agreement.
Jubilant also operates Domino's and Popeyes. With over 3,500 stores worldwide, they're shifting gears to stay strong in a tough market.
