SEBI proposes derivatives settlement, trading hours
SEBI is looking at two ways to settle derivatives: one mixes trades from the last 30 minutes plus a short auction session, while the other just uses the last 30 minutes as a transition option.
They're also considering tweaks to trading hours, either extending regular trading until 3:30pm or ending it earlier at 3:15pm with auction sessions wrapping up soon after.
SEBI alters CAS display and orders
During CAS, SEBI plans to stop showing live index values but will keep sharing price hints for individual stocks.
They're tightening rules around order changes within a small price band and making unexecuted iceberg orders more visible in the CAS order book.
