SpaceX hires natural gas trading lead for rockets and chipmaking
Business
SpaceX (yes, Elon Musk's company) is hiring someone to lead a natural gas trading team.
Why? They need more fuel for their rockets and for making semiconductors, especially as their projects keep expanding.
The role covers both buying and selling actual gas and handling financial trades.
SpaceX supports chip plant infrastructure
You'd be working on site, either in Cape Canaveral, Florida or Starbase, Texas, helping SpaceX run energy-hungry projects like their new chip plant.
The company is also planning its own power plants, pipelines, and even looking to drill for natural gas to make rocket fuel.
the company's president and chief operating officer Gwynne Shotwell calls these "huge investments" that are key for future space missions.
