T-Mobile to lay off 393 Washington employees, touching senior roles
Business
T-Mobile is cutting 393 jobs across Washington, with roles ranging from engineers and analysts to senior leaders.
The company says these permanent layoffs, starting April 2, are due to shifting business needs—but no physical offices will close.
Layoffs will impact over 200 job titles
The cuts touch more than 200 job titles, including nearly 210 senior or director-level roles and seven VPs.
Impacted locations include T-Mobile's Bellevue HQ, several data centers, call centers, offices around the state—and even some remote positions.
Hiring in other areas continues
Here's a twist: T-Mobile says it continues to hire in other areas, even as it trims staff elsewhere.
This comes just after a CEO change last year—so while some teams shrink, others might be growing.
