WeWork India seeks NCLT nod to reduce ₹2,050.16cr share capital

WeWork India is looking to reduce its share capital by ₹2,050.16 crore.
It has filed with the Bengaluru NCLT to use funds from its Securities Premium Account and clear out accumulated losses as of March 2026.
The move was greenlit by both the board and shareholders earlier this year.
Q1 FY27 loss narrows to ₹4.3cr
The company's Q1 FY27 numbers show real progress: net loss dropped to ₹4.3 crore from last year's ₹14.1 crore, while revenue rose 27.7% year-on-year to ₹705 crore.
EBITDA also increased 30.4% to ₹438 crore.
Plus, WeWork India has been expanding fast, adding new centers and more desk space compared to last year.
