One user claimed he had invested ₹65K in the app after watching Malhan's videos, but the app is now not allowing them to withdraw their funds. Another user posted a warning about the app, stating that it has been over a week since customers could not take out their money. Another accused Malhan of calmly sleeping while his fans' money remains trapped.
hibox team responded to allegations; Malhan yet to issue statement
In response to the backlash, the team behind hibox issued an official statement on their X handle. The statement read, "Dear Users, We're pleased to inform you that funds withdrawals for our app have officially started. Withdrawals will be processed on a queue basis and should be reflected in your bank account within the next 24 hours. Thank you for your patience." As of now, Malhan hasn't issued any statement regarding the allegations.
