Paresh Rawal's latest film, The Taj Story, has made a splash by earning over ₹10 crore within its first five days since releasing on October 31.
It started with ₹1 crore on day one and quickly doubled to ₹2 crore the next day, riding on strong word-of-mouth.
By Wednesday, the total had reached ₹11.70 crore.

Film's earnings and future prospects

Even with big competition from Baahubali-The Epic, The Taj Story kept up steady earnings—₹1.15 crore on Monday and ₹1.60 crore each on Tuesday and Wednesday—without relying on the usual weekday discounts.
The film's courtroom drama about the Taj Mahal's authenticity and Rawal's performance are pulling in crowds, and with no major Hindi releases coming up soon, it looks set to cross ₹15 crore next week.
