'Revolver Rita': Keerthy Suresh's crime-comedy gets U/A certificate
What's the story
The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has cleared the action-comedy entertainer Revolver Rita for release with a U/A certificate. The film, directed by J K Chandru and starring Keerthy Suresh in the lead role, was initially slated to be released on August 27 for Vinayaka Chathurthi but was postponed. It will now hit the screens worldwide on November 28.

The film's title teaser, released a few months ago, has created a lot of buzz among fans. In the teaser, Suresh's character confronts thugs who have snatched her handbag and taken it to their hideout. The bag contains a revolver, a blood-stained butcher's knife, and a bomb. The criminals are left wondering if she is an undercover RAW agent, an underworld don or a cop, but Suresh refuses to give them any clear answer.

The editing is by National Award-winning editor Praveen KL, with art direction by MKT and stunts by Dhilip Subbarayan.
