'FA9LA' composer Flipperachi cheers Akshaye Khanna's viral dance moment

Entertainment

Bahraini rapper Hussam Aseem, aka Flipperachi, is loving the buzz around his track FA9LA after Akshaye Khanna's spontaneous dance in Dhurandhar went viral.
On News Hour, Aseem said he's planning a TikTok inspired by Khanna's moves, sharing, "He went in, and he just did himself. I really appreciated how he felt the beat and said, 'Let me just dance.'"

How did 'FA9LA' blow up?

FA9LA—a short Khaleeji hip-hop song by Flipperachi (produced by DJ Outlaw)—dropped in 2024 and soundtracks Khanna's entry as Rehman Dakait in Dhurandhar.
Even with its Arabic lyrics, the track took off on YouTube as fans and T-Series uploads of the "Rehman Dakait Entry Song" pulled in millions of views by December 2024.

Not the 1st viral film song

FA9LA follows a trend: last year, Iranian track Jamal Kudu went big after Bobby Deol's villain entry dance in Animal.
Now, thanks to Khanna's performance (and Flipperachi's shoutout), FA9LA is another example of global tracks going viral through Indian cinema moments.
