'It Ends With Us' judge dismisses Lively's harassment and defamation

A judge has thrown out Blake Lively's sexual harassment and defamation claims against Justin Baldoni from their work on It Ends With Us, saying Lively was an independent contractor, not an employee, so certain laws didn't apply.
Lively's breach and retaliation claims proceed
The case isn't over yet. The court will still hear claims about breach of contract and possible retaliation after Lively spoke up about behavior on set.
The trial kicks off May 18, with Baldoni denying all accusations.
His team says the dismissed claims prove their point, but now all eyes are on whether there was any effort to damage Lively's reputation after she raised concerns.
