Jeremy Renner calls Yi Zhou's allegations 'totally inaccurate'
Jeremy Renner is pushing back against filmmaker Yi Zhou's allegations, calling her accusations "totally inaccurate and untrue."
His legal team sent her a cease and desist letter in early November 2024, telling her to stop spreading what he says are false stories.
What did Zhou accuse Renner of?
Zhou accused Renner of sending unsolicited explicit images over messages starting June this year.
She also said things got uncomfortable during an August visit to his Reno home, claiming he was intoxicated, became violent, and later threatened to report her to immigration authorities when she confronted him.
Renner threatens legal action if she doesn't stop
Renner says none of this happened—no explicit photos or threats.
He insists their only in-person meeting was a brief, consensual one in June this year, and claims Zhou kept messaging him with explicit content while trying to make it look like they were romantically involved.
His team has warned they'll take legal action if Zhou keeps making public statements.
Zhou has continued to respond publicly, including legal and social media actions.
