Kartik Aaryan, who recently suffered a knee injury while filming an action sequence for Kabir Khan's upcoming sports drama, has successfully undergone surgery. The actor is now recuperating at home and is expected to return to the set soon, his team shared on Saturday. Khan has now confirmed that there will be no delay in the shooting schedule due to this unexpected setback.

Khan clears air on film's schedule

Speaking to Hindustan Times on Sunday, Khan said, "All this is wrong news. There's no change in our schedule, we are on track."

"Our shoot is already over," he explained.

The film marks Aaryan's debut as a producer.

The untitled project is inspired by the story of kickboxer Tajamul Islam, marking Aaryan's second collaboration with Khan after Chandu Champion.

Aaryan's spokesperson confirms injury, surgery

Aaryan's spokesperson recently released a statement, saying, "Kartik Aaryan sustained a knee injury while performing an action sequence on the set of his film."

"His surgery was completed successfully, and he is now back home, resting and recovering. He will be back on set soon."

Aaryan was last seen in Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri (2025) and will next feature in Naagzilla.

He will also headline an untitled romance drama by Anurag Basu.
