KL Rahul breaks silence on rumors with Akansha Ranjan
Cricketer KL Rahul's love life has been the talk of the town, he is rumored to be dating Alia Bhatt's best friend Akansha Ranjan Kapoor. However, if the cricketer is to be believed, he is clueless about the buzz surrounding his love life. "I don't really read the papers, so I don't know what has been written about me," Rahul told Bombay Times.
Maintaining suspense over his love life, Rahul stated that he prefers not to make a buzz about his personal life. "I've learned to keep my personal life personal and not make it a thing to talk about. I'm committed to cricket right now," he added. Notably, Rahul was also rumored to be dating Athiya Shetty and Punjabi actress Sonam Bajwa in the past.
This isn't all. Rahul was also rumored to be dating Jannat actress Sonal Chauhan earlier. However, Sonal had vehemently rubbished the reports saying, "No, not at all. He is a very good cricketer, talented and nice guy." Besides, reports of his affair with Munna Michael actress Nidhhi Agerwal had also found its way on the internet but were shut down later by the lady.
Interestingly, when Rahul was quizzed about his relationship status, the cricketer said he is yet to figure it out. "I don't really know. When I figure that out, I will give you a call and tell you," he was quoted saying.
Meanwhile, there are reports that Rahul is going strong with his relationship with Akansha. The two have often been spotted spending quality time together during movie dates, house parties, etc. Besides, the media reports also suggested that Akansha even introduced the cricketer to her best friend Alia's beau Ranbir Kapoor. The four met at Alia's residence for dinner and drinks lately.
Separately, Rahul along with Hardik Pandya received a lot of flak (and were subsequently banned by BCCI) after their controversial remarks on Karan Johar's Koffee With Karan 6. Pandya had flaunted his unabashed lifestyle as he spoke about his relationships and crushes. While Rahul kept his head on shoulders, Pandya made demeaning statements about women throughout the show inviting criticism from all quarters.
