Mrunal Thakur reacts to 'AA22' rumors: 'Pray it happens'
Mrunal Thakur had some fun with rumors about her being in AA22xA6, the upcoming sci-fi action movie directed by Atlee and starring Allu Arjun.
When asked, she laughed, "Oh really, is it happening? With me? Please pray that it happens. If it does, we will celebrate."
The film promises Hollywood-level VFX and is reportedly planned as a two-part project.
Meanwhile, about 'AA22'
This is Atlee's first time teaming up with Allu Arjun for a high-concept sci-fi action drama.
A significant portion of the shoot has already been completed, and the team is currently filming complex action sequences.
There's buzz that Arjun might play more than one role.
Deepika Padukone is officially on board; other rumored names include Rashmika Mandanna, Janhvi Kapoor, Mrunal Thakur herself, and Kajol.
Thakur's upcoming films
Thakur recently visited Hyderabad for a Hindi script reading, which sparked talk about her joining a Telugu film.
She cleared things up—there haven't been any discussions yet but she'd love to work with Arjun and Atlee someday.
