'120 Bahadur' director reveals 6-year journey of making war drama

Farhan Akhtar's upcoming war drama, 120 Bahadur, is one of the most-awaited films. It narrates the story of the Battle of Rezang La. Ahead of its grand release, director Razneesh Ghai spoke to India Today about his six-year journey making this ambitious project. He revealed that he spent two years researching and writing the movie, followed by another two years trying to get the film made.

Ghai also revealed, "We had a 600-member crew working every day in Ladakh with heavy equipment." "We weren't there for two years, but we did shoot for about four months, out of which nearly 60 days were actual filming." "The rest of the time went into planning and coordinating the massive action and battle sequences." He added, "A war film demands an incredible amount of detail and logistics; there's so much that goes into getting it right."
