'Special Ops' Season 2 focuses on cyber-terrorism

The trailer for Special Ops Season 2 just dropped, bringing Kay Kay Menon back as the sharp R&AW officer Himmat Singh. This season takes a fresh turn, swapping old-school terrorism for cyber warfare—think AI dangers, data leaks, and even scientists being kidnapped. The big threat? A cyber-terrorist called Collector (played by Tahir Raj Bhasin) who's out to hack India's UPI data on a massive scale.

Directed by Shivam Nair and created by Neeraj Pandey, the series also features Prakash Raj, Vinay Pathak, Karan Tacker, and Saiyami Kher. Special Ops 2 lands on JioHotstar July 11. Pandey says this season is all about today's "invisible wars," while Menon hints we'll get to see new sides of Himmat Singh.
