What's the story
The second season of the acclaimed series The Night Manager, starring Tom Hiddleston, will premiere on January 11, 2026. Amazon Prime Video announced that the first three episodes will drop on this date, followed by one new episode every Sunday. The season finale is scheduled for February 1. All six episodes will stream exclusively on Prime Video worldwide (except in the UK), where they'll air on BBC and BBC iPlayer.

The plot and the returning cast
After eight years, Hiddleston will reprise his role as Jonathan Pine, a Cairo hotel night manager and former British soldier, who gets recruited by a Foreign Office task force to infiltrate an arms dealer's inner circle. Hiddleston is also an executive producer on the show. Olivia Colman will also return as Angela Burr, along with Alistair Petrie, Douglas Hodge, Michael Nardone, and Noah Jupe reprising their roles from the first season. Season 2 has been filmed across Europe.

New cast members and source material of the series
The second season of The Night Manager will also introduce new cast members, including Diego Calva and Camila Morrone. They will be joined by Indira Varma, Paul Chahidi, and Hayley Squires. The series is based on John le Carre's 1993 novel of the same name and was adapted for television by David Farr. It was originally produced by The Ink Factory for the BBC and AMC in 2016.
