3 men arrested in Gujarat for plotting terror attacks using ricin

India

Gujarat's Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) has arrested three men—Dr. Ahmed Mohiyuddin Saiyed, Azad Suleman Sheikh, and Mohammad Suhail Mohammad Saleem Khan—for allegedly plotting terror attacks using ricin, a deadly poison.
The group, hailing from Hyderabad and Uttar Pradesh, was arrested in Gujarat on November 7.
Officers found weapons and a large stash of castor oil (used to make ricin) during the operation.

Accused scouted locations in Delhi, Lucknow, and Ahmedabad for attacks

The accused had reportedly scouted locations in Lucknow, Delhi, and Ahmedabad for possible attacks.
Police say they had three pistols and 30 live cartridges, with some weapons believed to be sent by drone from Pakistan.
Dr. Saiyed—who studied medicine in China—was allegedly making ricin after getting instructions from an ISKP handler abroad.
All three are now facing serious charges under anti-terror laws, with investigations still ongoing to find more people linked to this network.
