Ajay Devgn is an Indian film actor, producer, and director who predominantly appears in Bollywood films. He has appeared in more than 100 Bollywood films throughout his acting career. He is the recipient of four Filmfare Awards and two National Film Awards. He also received the Padma Shri Award in 2016. Devgn was born on April 2, 1969, in Delhi and completed his education at Mithibai College. The actor made his Bollywood debut with the 1991 film ‘Phool Aur Kaante.’ He then went on to appear in various films like ‘Dilwale,’ ‘Sangram,’ ‘Ishq,’ ‘Suhaag,’ and ‘Jigar,’ among several others where he aced action roles and gained recognition as Bollywood’s action hero. In 2000, he established his own production company under the banner Ajay Devgn FFlims. In 2008, he made his debut as a film director with the romantic drama ‘U Me Aur Hum.’ Devgn is married to Bollywood actor Kajol and the couple has two children. Devgn’s latest films include ‘Bhuj: The Pride of India,’ ‘RRR,’ ‘Maidaan,’ and ‘Drishyam 2.’
