Abhijeet Dipke asks thali-chamach supporters to demand Dharmendra Pradhan resignation
Abhijeet Dipke, founder of the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP), is asking supporters to show up at Delhi's Jantar Mantar this Saturday, thalis (plates) and chamachs (spoons) in hand.
The protest kicks off at 1pm with CJP demanding Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan step down over the NEET paper leak and other exam issues.
Delhi Police have given the green light for the event.
CJP builds momentum for education accountability
The thali and chamach idea riffs off Prime Minister Modi's 2020 pandemic initiative but flips it to spotlight problems in education.
As Dipke put it on social media, "All the cockroaches joining tomorrow's protest at Jantar Mantar should carry a thali and a chamach with you. You know the rest of the story,"
The youth-led CJP has built momentum through online campaigns and rallies, starting with a packed June 6 event at Jantar Mantar, followed by protests in cities like Lucknow, Pune, and Bengaluru, all pushing for real accountability in education.
