Adi Dravidar hostel inmates fall ill after meal
After breakfast on Friday, 30 girls from the Government Adi Dravidar Girls Hostel in Pattukottai, Tamil Nadu suddenly fell sick. The hostel, which is currently set up in a marriage hall for students of the local government school, had to rush all affected students to the hospital right away.
Signs of food poisoning
The girls started vomiting and fainting soon after reaching school—classic signs of food poisoning. Hospital staff treated them for dehydration and vomiting, and thankfully, doctors say everyone is now safe and recovering well.
