Agra woman accuses ex-partner of harassment before suicide

A 34-year-old fashion designer from Kasganj died by suicide in Agra.
Before her death, she recorded two short videos accusing police constable JB Gautam of physical and mental harassment during their four-year live-in relationship.
She said Gautam made false promises of marriage and let his family mistreat her, even when she reached out to the police for help.
Accused cop suspended, departmental proceedings initiated
After her father filed a complaint, Gautam was arrested on charges of abetting suicide and deceiving her about marriage.
He has been suspended from duty and departmental proceedings have been initiated.
Police are analyzing the woman's phone for evidence and have spoken with her family as part of an ongoing investigation.
