Aditya Prateek Singh Sisodia, popularly known by his stage name Badshah, is an Indian rapper and singer mainly known for his Hindi, Haryanvi, and Punjab songs. His music career started in 2006 alongside Yo Yo Honey Singh in his Hip Hop group, Mafia Mundeer. After splitting with Honey Singh in 2012, Badshah released his independent Haryanvi song 'Kar Gayi Chull'. His music has been featured in Bollywood soundtracks for several films like 'Khoobsurat' and 'Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania', among others. Badshah's debut single, titled 'DJ Waley Babu', featuring Aastha Gill, earned the number one position on Indian iTunes charts within just 24 hours of release. Also, he is known for his catchphrase, "It's your boy Badshah." His first album, 'O.N.E – Original Never Ends', was released in 2018. In 2016, Badshah collaborated with Navv Inder on 'Wakhra Swag' that bagged the 2016 Punjabi Music Awards for best duo/group as well as the most popular song of the year. Considered a controversial rapper, his songs like 'Genda Phool' and 'Pagal' have also received backlash.
