Aryan Khan is the son of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan and interior designer Gauri Khan. He also has a younger brother AbRam Khan and a younger sister Suhana Khan. Aryan was born on November 13, 1997, in Delhi. He started his career in acting as a child artist in the 2001 drama film ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham,’ where he portrayed his father’s childhood role. Following this, he chose to focus on his studies and largely stayed away from the limelight. He completed his school education at the prestigious Sevenoaks School in London. Later, he joined the University of Southern California to pursue a course in writing and filmmaking. His debut in voice acting came in 2019 for the Hindi-dubbed version of the Hollywood computer-animated drama film ‘The Lion King.’ Aryan was the voice behind Simba while Shah Rukh dubbed for the character of Mufasa. In October 2021, Aryan was detained by the Narcotics Control Bureau in connection with an alleged drug purchase and consumption case during a midnight rave party on Cordelia Cruises's Empress ship.
