Ahmedabad crash co-pilot close to actor Vikrant Massey

On June 12, 2025, Air India flight AI171 crashed just after takeoff from Ahmedabad, hitting a medical college building and tragically killing all 241 people on board. The victims included First Officer Clive Kunder and former Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani. Tata Group, which owns Air India, has promised ₹1 crore compensation for each victim's family and will help rebuild the damaged hostel.
