Bengaluru lawyer killed in hit-and-run by teen driver
In a tragic incident on Wednesday night, 64-year-old High Court advocate N Ramachandra Reddy lost his life after being struck by a speeding car while stepping out of a shop in Sanjay Nagar, Bengaluru.
The car was driven by 19-year-old engineering student Shishir Patil, and Reddy died at the scene.

Student driver faces charges as investigation continues
Police have filed an FIR against Patil for over-speeding and negligent driving under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. Three damaged vehicles were seized as evidence.
Patil, a first-semester BE student from Dharwad living in Electronic City, was reportedly with a female friend during the crash.
He's been asked to undergo a blood test while police continue reviewing CCTV footage and conducting their investigation.
