Bengaluru's nights are getting colder—here's what's up

India

Bengaluru is set for some chilly nights, with temperatures expected to dip to 13-15°C this week, while afternoons stay warm at 26-29°C.
The IMD says it's all thanks to dry air and clear skies—if it hits 12°C, it'll be the coldest December since 2016.

Why does this matter?

Most of Karnataka will stay dry, but a few northern districts could see cold wave conditions.
According to IMD meteorologist CS Patil, low moisture in the air means nights cool off fast and days heat up quickly.
