Bihar allots 15 acres near Patna for Lord Venkateswara temple
India
Bihar just set aside 15 acres near Patna for a new Lord Venkateswara temple, making it super convenient for visitors thanks to its spot by the Ganges and a national highway.
B.R. Naidu met with Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Chowdary on Wednesday and thanked him for the land allotment.
TTD to fast-track temple construction
The complex will include a main shrine, Kalyana Mandapam (wedding hall), Pushkarini (temple tank), and other facilities to welcome devotees.
TTD says construction will be fast-tracked as part of its push to spread Sanatana Dharma across India, similar to their similar temple in Guwahati, Assam.
Naidu also thanked Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Chowdary, gifting Chowdary a memento of Lord Venkateswara and shawl during their meeting.
