Bulandshahr girl 8 murdered after Ravi Kashyap lured with golgappas
An eight-year-old girl in Bulandshahr district, Uttar Pradesh, was found murdered after going missing on Friday.
Police say the accused, Ravi Kashyap, lured her with golgappas before assaulting and killing her.
Police were conducting raids to arrest him and questioning his wife.
Body found Saturday Kashyap's wife questioned
The victim and the accused lived in the same building, and the accused worked at the same factory as the girl's father.
After she disappeared Friday afternoon, police launched a search and found her body early Saturday morning.
While the family took her body to their native place after the post-mortem examination for the last rites, police are still piecing together what happened that day by questioning Kashyap's wife and searching for more details to fully understand the case.
