Burnt remains of Sonam Raghuvanshi's 'Black bag' found in Indore
Police in Meghalaya have recovered the burnt remains of a black bag in Indore, believed to belong to Sonam Raghuvanshi—the main accused in her husband Raja Raghuvanshi's murder during their honeymoon on May 23.
Investigators say Sonam allegedly was involved with accomplices in the crime and fled with them after Raja's death.
She is now in judicial custody as police piece together how the events unfolded.
Forensic experts are now analyzing what's left of the bag
The charred bag was found on a vacant plot after property dealer Silome James admitted he burned it with security guard Balla Ahirwar's help—both have been arrested for trying to destroy evidence.
Forensic experts are now analyzing what's left of the bag.
Meanwhile, police are focusing on Sonam's time hiding out in Indore before her arrest.
