A Bihar court has granted interim relief to educator Faisal Khan, popularly known as "Khan Sir," in an anticipatory bail plea. The court has extended its earlier order of "no coercive action" against him till the next hearing. This decision comes amid a dispute between Khan Global Studies and Gyan Bindu Coaching in Patna.

What is the case about?

The case against Khan Sir was registered on Wednesday by Roshan Anand, director of Gyan Bindu GS Academy. Anand accused Khan Sir of his brother Prince Yadav's death at a hotel in Nepal and an alleged assault on him during his stay at Beur Central Jail. The court has not only granted interim relief to Khan Sir but also directed the police to avoid any harsh measures against him in the meantime.

Dispute

Both institutes accused each other of violence

Khan's anticipatory bail plea will be heard again on the next scheduled date set by the court. The dispute between Khan Global Studies and Gyan Bindu Coaching began on June 2 when both institutes accused each other of violence. During the altercation, Khan Sir alleged that his institute was attacked, after which a firing incident had taken place. Both parties made serious allegations against each other following this incident.

Custody status

Khan Global Studies employee arrested

After the June 2 incident, a case was registered on the complaint of Kanhaiya Singh, an employee of Khan Global Studies. Roshan Anand was arrested by the police and spent 12 days in custody before being granted bail. However, his brother Abhishek and associate Gaurav are still in judicial custody after their bail pleas were rejected by a Judicial Magistrate First Class court.
