Cyclone Ditwah set to bring heavy rain to Andhra Pradesh

Heads up, Andhra Pradesh—Cyclone Ditwah is on its way, and it's expected to bring some serious downpours between November 29 and December 1.
The storm formed over the southwest Bay of Bengal, close to Pottuvil in Sri Lanka, on November 27 and is now moving toward the Tamil Nadu and Andhra coasts, so folks in Rayalaseema and South Coastal AP should get ready for intense rainfall.
IMD alerts and safety warnings
The India Meteorological Department has put out orange and red alerts for several districts, warning of heavy to extremely heavy rain, strong winds up to 80km/h, thunderstorms, and lightning.
Fishermen have been told not to head out to sea from November 28-30.
