Delhi court permits Yash Yadav to sit NEET-UG retest
A Delhi court just said yes to Yash Yadav, a medical student accused in the NEET-UG 2026 paper leak case, letting him sit for the retest on June 21.
Even though he's facing serious allegations, the judge made it clear that the charges alone cannot deprive him of his right to sit for the examination.
While his bail request is still pending, he was allowed study materials in jail so he could prepare for the test.
Yash Yadav bail pending NEET-UG retest
Yadav had asked for a short release from custody to take the medical entrance retest and attend a family event, but his exam request has been addressed so far, and his interim bail plea is still pending.
The retest was scheduled after authorities canceled the first test due to the leak scandal.
With investigations ongoing, security around this year's NEET-UG is tighter than ever to make sure things stay fair for all students.
