Delhi-NCR gets rain relief, temperatures likely rising after June 21

Delhi-NCR just got a break from the relentless heat thanks to rain and strong winds on Tuesday.
The IMD says we can expect more thunderstorms and light to moderate rain over the next two days, but heads up: temperatures are likely to start rising again after June 21.
Safdarjung 33.3°C, northern rain and alerts
Delhi saw its coolest June day yet, with the main Safdarjung station recording just 33.3 degrees Celsius, over five degrees below normal.
Other northern states like Rajasthan and Himachal Pradesh also got some rain, while Kashmir faced gusty winds that damaged property but caused no injuries.
The IMD has forecast thunderstorm activity for Delhi till June 21, while Himachal Pradesh has a wet spell till June 23, with district-level alerts for Thursday and Friday.
