Delhi-NCR schools defy sports ban even as air turns toxic

Even with a Supreme Court order to pause outdoor school sports because of dangerous pollution, some Delhi-NCR schools kept going with activities outside.
Officials had already called for a complete stop, warning that the air quality was so bad it posed serious health risks for kids.

The CAQM is now pushing for stricter checks on schools and wants parents and teachers to understand just how risky outdoor sports can be right now.
