Delhi-NCR's air quality stays 'severe' for 3rd day straight

India

Delhi-NCR's air is still in the "severe" zone, with Saturday's average AQI at 431 and some spots peaking near 457 by night.
The main culprit? Barely any wind and poor ventilation, which means all those pollutants are just hanging around.

Why does this matter?

Breathing this air isn't great for anyone—especially if you're outside a lot.
Areas like Wazirpur, Vivek Vihar, Noida, and Greater Noida saw some of the worst numbers in the country.
Because of this, construction is paused, many offices have shifted to work-from-home, and schools up to grade 11 are back to hybrid mode until things get better (hopefully next week as winds pick up).
