Delhi Police arrest 7 in Pakistan-linked arms and drugs syndicate
Delhi Police just busted a major terror syndicate with links to Pakistan, arresting seven people: Anas alias Anas Tyagi, Mohit alias Yogi, Deepak Agrola, Arif alias Pradhan, Jatan, Sabir, and Karanveer Singh.
The group was caught with pistols, ammunition, incriminating phones, and an SUV.
They were reportedly smuggling arms and drugs from Pakistan into India through Punjab.
Syndicate targeted Delhi NCR, used drones
The syndicate had some serious plans: they were targeting religious leaders and public places around Delhi-NCR to stir up communal unrest.
They even used drones for cross-border smuggling and encrypted chats to stay under the radar.
The network started unraveling after one member, Mohit, was arrested in Yamuna Vihar.
Turns out, recruits were promised money and a flashy lifestyle for their work.
Police are still tracking down more members as legal action continues.
