Delhi ramps up security after Sydney Hanukkah attack

After a deadly terror attack during a Hanukkah celebration at Sydney's Bondi Beach left at least 11 people dead and several others injured, Delhi Police have put the city on high alert.
The shooting by two gunmen has sparked warnings about possible threats to Jewish sites in Indian cities like Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru.

Extra precautions for Jewish sites and public spaces

In response, security has been tightened around synagogues, Jewish community centers, and the Israeli embassy in Delhi—especially during Hanukkah (December 15-23).
More police are patrolling busy areas and keeping an eye out for anything suspicious.
