Delhi's air quality beats Lucknow, Lalbagh hits 'very poor' levels

Lucknow's air just took a turn for the worse—its Air Quality Index (AQI) jumped to 254, beating even Delhi and nearby cities.
One area, Lalbagh, hit a "very poor" 329.
Nighttime pollution spiked too, with PM2.5 and PM10 levels way above safe limits.

Experts say rain helped clean-up post Diwali

Breathing this air isn't great for anyone. Experts say the recent clean-up after Diwali was thanks to rain, but now that it's stopped, pollution is climbing fast again.
