Dense fog disrupts travel across north, central India

North and Central India woke up to heavy fog on Thursday, making travel pretty challenging.
Flights at Delhi Airport kept going with special low-visibility measures in place, but trains were delayed and visibility dropped sharply in many areas.

Trains delayed, air quality takes a hit

Uttar Pradesh's Kanpur saw train slowdowns due to the thick fog, while Ayodhya experienced severely reduced visibility at the railway station.
Mumbai's Bandra Kurla Complex had smoggy skies too, with an AQI of 148 (moderate), while Delhi's air quality was even worse at 214 ('poor'), with alarming air quality levels.
Haryana's Karnal also started the day under a dense fog blanket.
