DGCA inspects 24 Boeing 787 Dreamliners; no safety concerns
After the tragic crash of Air India Flight 171 in June, India's aviation regulator (DGCA) quickly launched in-depth safety inspections across Air India's Boeing 787 fleet.
So far, 24 out of 33 planes have passed these checks with no major issues found.
Trust review and flight delays
The crash shook public trust and led to a full review of the airline's planes.
While some flights are delayed or canceled as inspections continue, DGCA's fast action is meant to reassure travelers that flying remains safe—and that every plane will meet strict standards before taking off again.
