Dharwad court evacuated after 3rd bomb threat, later found false
For the third time in less than six months, the Dharwad district court in Karnataka faced a bomb threat on Friday.
An anonymous caller claimed bombs were hidden around the building, leading police to quickly evacuate everyone, judges, lawyers, staff, and visitors.
After a thorough search with dog squad, no explosives were found, and it turned out to be another false alarm.
Police probe repeated court bomb hoaxes
This isn't the first scare. Similar threats hit the High Court of Karnataka in Dharwad and the district courts in Gadag and Bagalkot in January, and the Dharwad Bench of the High Court of Karnataka and the district court in February too, but all turned out to be hoaxes.
Now, police are digging into Friday's call to track down who's behind these repeated fake threats and keep the court community safe.
