Dog sneaks onto Chennai Metro train at Anna Nagar Tower
India
A dog managed to sneak onto a Chennai Metro train on November 5, 2026, hopping in through an unattended exit at Anna Nagar Tower station.
The pup wandered into the women's coach and caught the passengers by surprise when the train rolled into Koyambedu station.
Rescued dog raises platform security concerns
Metro staff and fire services eventually guided the dog off the train safely at Koyambedu.
The incident highlighted a real issue: unmanned exit gates make it easy for unexpected guests (furry or otherwise) to slip in.
Looks like it's time for tighter security on those platforms!
